To a stirred solution of potassium tert.-butoxide (116 mg, 1.03 mmol) in propan-2-ol (2 mL) was added (S)-tert-butyl 2-(4-(2,5-dichloropyrimidin-4-ylamino)phenyl)morpholine-4-carboxylate (110 mg, 0.26 mmol) and the mixture was shaken at 90° C. overnight. After cooling, the reaction mixture was poured into water and extracted with ethyl acetate. The organic layer was dried over MgSO4 and evaporated. The residue was purified by column chromatography (silica gel, 5 to 15% ethyl acetate in heptan, 10 g ISCO column). White foam (58 mg, 50%). MS (ISP): 449.3 ([{35Cl}M+H]+), 451.1 ([{37Cl}M+H]+).
