To a stirred mixture of 3,5-difluoro-4-iodopyridin-2-amine (200 mg, 0.78 mmol) and triethylamine (240 mg, 2.34 mmol) in DCM (10 ml) at 0° C. was added n-propanesulfonyl chloride (0.28 g, 1.95 mmol). The mixture was allowed to warm to rt and was stirred for 2 h. It was then concentrated to provide the crude product, which was used in the next step without purification. MS m/z 469.1 (M+1).
