A mixture of ethyl 8-(3,4-difluorobenzyl)-3-[3-methoxy-4-(2-methyl-1,3-oxazol-5-yl)phenyl]-5,6,7,8-tetrahydro[1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-a]pyridine-8-carboxylate (100 mg), formamide (78.5 μL), sodium methoxide (28% methanol solution, 200 μL) and DMF (1 mL) was stirred at 70° C. for 30 min, and allowed to cool to room temperature. Saturated aqueous ammonium chloride solution was added. The precipitate was collected by filtration, washed with water and IPE, and dried under reduced pressure to give the title compound (80.4 mg).
