Procedure

Prepared as in Example 215c from butane-1-thiol and 2,6-dinitrobenzonitrile in 90% yield. 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3) δ 0.97 (t, J=7.2 Hz, 3H), 1.42-1.55 (m, 2H), 1.70-1.77 (m, 2H), 3.09 (t, J=7.2 Hz, 2H), 7.63-7.69 (m, 2H), 7.99-8.01 (m, 1H).
