[(trans-4-{2-[(1R)-1-Hydroxyethyl]-1H-imidazo[4,5-d]thieno[3,2-b]pyridin-1-yl}cyclohexyl)methyl]carbamate (0.21 g, 0.49 mmol) was treated with trifluoroacetic acid (0.7 mL, 9 mmol) in dichloromethane (2 mL) at room temperature for 1 h. The mixture was stripped to dryness to give the desired product as TFA salt (0.35 g, 79%). LCMS calculated for C17H23N4OS (M+H)+: m/z=331.1. Found: 331.0.
