A solution of 3-chloro-2-(4-(2,4-difluorophenoxyl)piperidin-1-yl)pyrido[3,4-b]pyrazine (2 g, 5.31 mmol), propan-2-amine (1.36 mL, 15.92 mmol) and DIPEA (1.85 mL, 10.62 mmol) in dioxane (10.62 mL) was heated at 95° C. overnight. After concentration, the residue was purified with silica gel column chromatography using a gradient of 0% to 100% EtOAc in heptanes to give the title compound (1.5 g, 71%) as an off-white solid. ESI-MS m/z [M+H]+ 400.00.
