1-(2-Chloropyrimidin-4-yl)-3-isopropyl-2-oxopyrrolidine-3-carbonitrile (14.1 g) obtained in Step C of Example 5 was resolved by HPLC (column: CHIRALPAK IC, 50 mmID×500 mmL, manufactured by Daicel Chemical Industries, mobile phase: hexane/2-propanol=200/800) to give the title compound (6.9 g) having a shorter retention time.
