To a solution of ethyl 2-methyl-2-(4-((6-oxo-1,6-dihydropyrimidin-2-yl)amino)-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)propanoate (2.0 g) obtained in Step C of Example 347 in acetonitrile (20 mL) was added phosphorus oxychloride (4.0 mL), and the mixture was stirred at 80° C. for 2 hr. To the reaction mixture was added 8 M aqueous sodium hydroxide solution (25 mL), and the mixture was extracted with ethyl acetate. The obtained organic layer was washed with water and saturated brine, and dried over anhydrous magnesium sulfate, and the solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure to give the title compound (2.0 g).
