The title compound is prepared in 99% yield (460 mg, white solid) from ethyl 3-(bromomethyl)-2-chloroisonicotinate (350 mg, 1.26 mmol) and (3-methyl-4-(2,2,2-trifluoroethoxy)phenyl)methanamine hydrochloride (353 mg, 1.38 mmol, Amine-34) in a similar manner to Intermediate-2.
