Reaction Steps
A solution of tert-butyl 4-((4-(ethylcarbamoyl)-1-oxo-1H-pyrrolo[3,4-c]pyridin-2(3H)-yl)methyl)-2-methylbenzoate (260 mg, 0.64 mmol, Step-3) in 4 M hydrogen chloride in dioxane (20 mL) is stirred overnight at rt. The mixture is concentrated to give 220 mg (89% yield) of the title compound as pale brown solid.
