Procedure
Palladium 10% on carbon (10 mg) is added to a stirred solution of 5-(azidomethyl)-2-(2,2,3,3-tetrafluoropropoxy)pyridine (110 mg, 2.1 mmol, Step-2) and 2M hydrochloric acid (0.2 mL) in methanol (3.5 mL). The mixture is stirred at rt under hydrogen atmosphere (1 atm) for 4 hours. The mixture is filtered through a pad of celite and washed with methanol. The filtrate is concentrated in vacuo to give 110 mg (93% yield) of the title compound as white solid.
