Procedure

To a solution of ethyl 5-methyl-6-(2,2,2-trifluoroethoxy)pyridazine-3-carboxylate (1.70 g, 6.43 mmol, Step-2 of Amine-48) in THF (32 mL) is added a solution of lithium borohydride in THF (3 M, 3.22 mL, 9.65 mmol) at 0° C. After stirring at 0° C. for 4 hours, the reaction is quenched with saturated aqueous sodium bicarbonate solution (50 mL). The mixture is filtered through a pad of Celite, and the filtrate is extracted with EtOAc (200 mL). The separated organic layer is washed with brine, dried over sodium sulfate, and concentrated in vacuo. The residue is purified by column chromatography on silica gel eluting with n-hexane/EtOAc (1:2) to give 1.22 g (85% yield) of the title compound as white solid.
