To a solution of 7-chloro-2-(4-fluorophenyl)-5-methylthiazolo[5,4-d]pyrimidine (30 mg, 0.11 mmol) and triethylamine (22 μl, 0.16 mmol) in dioxane (1 ml) was added 2-(4-chlorophenoxy)-1-(piperazin-1-yl)ethanone (38 mg, 0.16 mmol). The reaction mixture was heated at 70° C. for 3 hours. After cooling, the volatiles were removed under reduced pressure. The crude residue was purified by chromatography on silica gel (CH2Cl2/MeOH 70:1) to yield the title compound as a white solid (40 mg, 75%).
