To a solution of 4-chloro-6-(4-fluorophenyl)thieno[2,3-d]pyrimidine (20 mg, 0.08 mmol) and triethylamine (42 μl, 0.3 mmol) in dioxane (1 ml) was added 2-(4-chlorophenoxy)-1-(piperazin-1-yl)ethanone (25 mg, 0.1 mmol). The mixture was heated at 60° C. for 2 hours. After cooling down to room temperature, the solvents were removed under reduced pressure. The crude residue was purified by silica gel chromatography (CH2Cl2/MeOH 50:1) to yield the title compound as a white solid (27 mg, 75%).
