Reaction Steps

To a solution of [11-(2-dimethylamino-ethylcarbamoyl)-benzo[a]phenazin-4-yloxy]-acetic acid tert-butyl ester (18 mg) in dry dichloromethane (1 mL) was added trifluoroacetic acid (1 mL). After stirring for 4 hours the solvent was removed in vacuo to yield crude product. This was triturated with ether to yield the title compound as a yellow solid (10 mg).
