Using 8-(5-{[2-(2-chlorophenyl)ethyl]amino}pentanoyl)-5,6-dihydro-4H-pyrrolo[3,2,1-ij]quinolin-2(1H)-one hydrochloride (205 mg, 0.5 mmol) obtained in Example 39 and 48% hydrobromic acid (84 mg, 0.5 mmol) according to the same method as that of Example 360, the title compound was obtained as colorless crystals (220 mg) having a melting point of 201 to 203° C. (dec). elementary analysis as C24H27ClN2O2.HBr calculation value: C, 58.61; H, 5.74; N, 5.70. experimental value: C, 58.54; H, 5.85; N, 5.53.
