To a stirred mixture of 249C (70.0 mg, 0.0.27 mmol) in 1 mL of CH2Cl2 at room temperature was added TFA (2.00 mL, 25.9 mmol). The mixture was stirred at room temperature for 1 hr and concentrated in vacuo to give crude 249D. This material was mixed with DMA to make a 2 mL stock solution and was used as is in next step reaction.
