A solution of 1.36-B (12 mg, 22 μmol) in trifluoroacetic acid (2.5 mL) was heated at 150° C. in a microwave for 30 sec. The reaction mixture was concentrated to a crude residue which was purified by preparative LCMS to yield the desired product (7 mg, 65%). 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3): δ 7.91 (d, J=7.2 Hz, 2H), 7.75 (d, J=8.0 Hz, 1H), 7.52–7.47 (m, 2H), 7.37 (dd, J=7.8, 7.6 Hz, 2H), 7.32–7.21 (m, 6H), 7.00 (s, 1H), 4.79 (dd, J=7.4, 7.2 Hz, 1H), 3.57 (dd, J=13.7, 7.6 Hz, 1H), 3.10 (dd, J=13.9, 6.8 Hz, 1H); LCMS found for C24H19BrNO4S (M+H)+: m/z=496.
