Procedure
A mixture of 5-[3-(2-bromo-5-fluorophenoxy)azetidin-1-yl]pyrazine-2-carbonitrile (0.48 g, 1.36 mmol), sodium azide (0.18 g, 2.7 mmol), and ammonium chloride (0.73 g, 1.36 mmol) in DMF (4 mL) was heated at 130° C. After a period of 4 h, the reaction mixture was partitioned between ethyl acetate and saturated ammonium chloride. The resulting solid was filtered and washed with water and ether. The solid was taken up in toluene and the solvent evaporated to provide the desired product.
