Procedure
1 ml of 2N HCl is added to a solution of 106 mg of 1-[6-chloro-5-phenyl-1-(2-trimethylsilanylethoxymethyl)-1H-indazol-3-yl]-3-phenylurea in 12 cm3 of methanol. The reaction medium is stirred at ambient temperature for 48 hours and at reflux for 5 hours, then evaporated. The solid obtained is dried under vacuum to give 82 mg of N-(6-chloro-5-phenyl-1H-indazol-3-yl)-N′-phenylurea (colorless solid).
