(5-Chloro-6-{(3R)-3-methyl-4-[6-trifluoromethyl-4-(3,4,5-trifluoro-phenyl)-1H-benzoimidazol-2-yl]-piperazin-1-yl}-pyridin-3-yl)-methanol (110 mg, 0.2 mmol, Example 162) reacted with MnO2 (348 mg, 4.0 mmol, Aldrich) under the conditions of Example 154a to give the title compound as a gum, which is was used in the next step without additional purification.
