Using a procedure analogous to that used to prepare 8B, 10B (250 mg, 1.05 mmol) was reacted with 4-(4-bromophenyl)butyric acid chloride to give 10C (493 mg, 100%). MS (ESI) m/z 461.2, 463.2 (M+H)+.
