Procedure

6-Bromo-N-((1R,2S)-2-{[(3aR,4R,9bR)-4-phenyl-2,3,3a,4,5,9b-hexahydro-1H-pyrrolo[3,2-c]quinolin-1-yl]carbonyl}cyclohexyl)hexaneamide (166 mg, 0.30 mmol), morpholine (28 μl, 0.331 mmol) and potassium carbonate (207 mg, 1.5 mmol) were heated under reflux for 6 hrs. in acetonitrile (3 ml). Water was added to the reaction mixture and the mixture was extracted with ethyl acetate. The extract was dried over anhydrous Na2SO4. The solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure, and the obtained residue was subjected to basic silica gel column chromatography and eluted with ethyl acetate to give the title compound (153 mg, 91%) as a white solid.
