4-(4-Methylhomopiperazin-1-ylmethyl)-N-[4-methyl-3-(4-(pyridin-3-yl)pyrimidin-2-yl)aminophenyl]benzamide (250 mg, 0.429 mmol) was dissolved in ethanol (10 ml), methanesulfonic acid (64 μl, 0.984 mmol) was added, and the mixture was reacted at room temperature for 16 hours. The resulting solid was filtered and washed with acetone to give 4-(4-methylhomopiperazin-1-ylmethyl)-N-[4-methyl-3-(4-(pyridin-3-yl)pyrimidin-2-yl)aminophenyl]benzamide methanesulfonate (230 mg).
