4-(4-Methylpiperazin-1-ylaminomethyl)-N-[4-methyl-3-(4-(pyridin-3-yl)pyrimidin-2-yl)aminophenyl]benzamide (95 mg, 0.187 mmol) was dissolved in ethanol (8 ml), methanesulfonic acid (24 μl, 0.347 mmol) was added thereto, and the mixture was reacted at room temperature for 16 hours. The resulting solid was filtered and washed with acetone to give 4-(4-methylpiperazin-N-ylaminomethyl)-N-[4-methyl-3-(4-(pyridin-3-yl)pyrimidin-2-yl)aminophenyl]benzamide methanesulfonate (80 mg).
