Procedure
Ethylbromide (7.5 ml) is added to a solution of 2,6-diethyl-2,3,6-trimethyl-1-(1-phenyl-ethoxy)-piperidine-4-one-O-(3-dimethylamino-propyl)-oxime (10.2 g, 0.0244 mol) in acetonitrile (12 ml). The solution is stirred 24 h at room temperature and is then evaporated. The residue is dissolved in dichloromethane, dried over MgSO4 and evaporated to afford 11.5 g of the title compound as a white powder.
