Procedure
To a solution of tert-Butyl 4-(2-{6-amino-8-[(6-bromo-1,3-benzodioxol-5-yl)thio]-9H-purin-9-yl}ethyl)piperidine-1-carboxylate (0.030 g) in DCM (10 mL) was added trifluoroacetic acid (5 mL) at room temperature and stirring was continued at rt for 1-16 h. The solvent and the excess trifluoroacetic acid was evaporated to dryness. The oily residue was co-evaporated with toluene (3×5 mL) to afford title product as a trifluoroacetate salt. 1H NMR (DMSO-d6) δ 8.21 (s, 1H), 7.40 (s, 1H), 6.85 (s, 1H), 6.10 (s, 2H), 4.19 (t, J=7.6 Hz, 2H), 3.25-3.20 (m, 2H), 2.80-2.75 (m, 2H), 1.88-1.85 (m, 2H), 1.68-1.62 (m, 2H), 1.50-1.42 (M, 1H), 1.30-1.24 (m, 2H); LC-MS [M+H]+ 477.1
