Procedure
To a solution of 0.43 g (0.9 mmol) of the compound obtained in example 50 in 1.5 mL of dichloromethane, cooled to -78° C., was carefully added a solution of 0.27 g (0.81 mmol) of metachloroperbenzoic acid in 1.2 mL of dichloromethane. The cooling bath was removed, the reaction mixture was allowed to warm up to room temperature and was then heated at 30° C. for 90 min. Finally, it was allowed to cool to room temperature, water was added and it was extracted with dichloromethane. The organic phase was dried and the solvent was removed to afford a crude product that was chromatographed on silica gel (ethyl acetate-methanol-acetic acid mixtures of increasing polarity), to give the title compound of the example (yield: 37%).
