0.25 g of p-methoxybenzoyl chloride were added to 10 ml of a methylene chloride solution containing 0.529 g of 1-[3,3-bis(3-chlorophenyl)acryloyl]piperazine (prepared as described in Preparation 111) and 0.41 ml of triethylamine, whilst ice-cooling, and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 1 hour. The mixture was then worked up and purified as described in Example 68 to give 0.682 g of the title compound as a powder.
