847 mg (2.43 mmol) of ethyl 4-(1-t-butoxycarbonyl-4-piperidyloxy)benzoate was dissolved in 50 ml of ethanol, and 5 ml of 1 N sodium hydroxide was added thereto, and they were stirred for 3 days.
