A solution of 5-(benzyloxy)-8-(2-{benzyl[6-(4-phenylbutoxy)hexyl]amino}-1-hydroxyethyl)-2H-1,4-benzoxazin-3(4H)-one (82 mg) in ethanol (10 ml) and ethyl acetate (2 ml) was stirrer under hydrogen in the presence of palladium on charcoal (50 mg) for 8 h. The reaction mixture was filtered and concentrated in vacuo. Mass directed auto-preparative chromatography afforded the title compound (13.7 mg). LCMS RT=2.62 min ES+ve 456 (MH)+
