To a solution of tert-butyl ((1S)-1-(6-(3,5-dimethylisoxazol-4-yl)-1-methyl-1H-pyrrolo[3,2-b]pyridin-5-yl)ethyl)carbamate (105 mg, 0.283 mmol) in anhydrous DCM (3.0 mL) was added 4 N HCl in dioxane (0.40 mL, 1.6 mmol). The solution was stirred at 20° C. for 21 hours and then concentrated in vacuo to give an HCl salt of the title compound as a white solid, which was used without further purification. ESI-MS m/z [M+H]+ calc'd for C15H18N4O, 271; found 271.
