Pd/C (1.50 g) and compound 19 (3.00 g, 1.14 mmol) were suspended in THF (1500 mL) at 25° C. under hydrogen at 30 psi for 4 hours. The mixture was then filtered through a pad of Celite®, and the filtrate was concentrated in vacuo to give compound 20 as a white solid. 1H NMR (DMSO-d6; 400 MHz) δ 7.05 (s), δ 6.49 (s), δ 5.01 (s), δ 1.35 (s), δ 1.33 (s).
