N-(2,6-diethylphenyl)-8-iodo-1-methyl-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazolo[4,3-h]quinazoline-3-carboxamide (500 mg, 1.01 mmol) was dissolved in CH3CN (3 ml) and treated with trans-1,4-diaminecyclohexane (346 mg, 303 mmol). The mixture was heated at 110° C. for 10 minutes under microwave irradiation. The solvent was removed under reduced pressure and the crude was purified by column chromatography to afford the title compound.
