Under nitrogen atmosphere, a mixture of 3-(2,3-dihydro-1H-indol-5-yl)-1-ethyl-1,3-dihydro-2H-imidazo[4,5-b]pyridin-2-one (100 mg) and 2-chloro-3H-imidazo[4,5-b]pyridine (60.3 mg) in NMP (4 mL) was stirred at 150° C. for 2 h, treated with water, and extracted with AcOEt. The organic layer was dried over MgSO4 and concentrated in vacuo. The residue was purified by prep. HPLC. Crystallization from EtOH/H2O to give the title compound (18.0 mg).
