A solution of 7-bromo-4-(4-chloro-2-pyridin-2-yl-5,6-dihydro-4H-pyrrolo[1,2-b]pyrazol-3-yl)-quinoline (765.0 mg, 1.80 mmol) in 15% (v/v) aqueous N-methyl pyrrolidinone (15 mL) is heated at 120° C. for 18 h. The mixture is concentrated in vacuo and the residue chromatographed on SiO2 (dichloromethane to 20% methanol in dichloromethane) to yield a yellow solid, 408.0 mg (60%).
