To a stirred solution of [1-ethyl-2-oxo-3-(4-{[tris(1-methylethyl)silyl]oxy}phenyl)-2,3-dihydro-1H-imidazo[4,5-b]pyridin-7-yl]methyl acetate (480 mg) in THF (5 ml) was added a solution of tetrabutylammonium fluoride (778 mg) in THF (2 mL) at 0° C. The mixture was stirred at 0° C. for 30 min, treated with water, and extracted with AcOEt. The organic layer was dried over MgSO4 and concentrated in vacuo. The residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography (AcOEt/Hexane=1/1) to give the title compound (276 mg).
