The mixture of Example 1B (472 mg, 0.79 mmol) and 2,2,2-trifluoroacetic acid (608 μL, 7.9 mmol) in CH2Cl2 (10 mL) was stirred at room temperature overnight. Saturated aqueous Na2CO3 (20 mL) and CH2Cl2 (20 mL) were added. The organic layer was washed with brine and concentrated. Purification by gradient flash chromatography (silica gel, 5-30% solvent A in EtOAc, solvent A: MeOH (10):Et3N (1)) afforded 330.5 mg (84%) of the title compound. 1H NMR (300 MHz, DMSO-d6) δ ppm 1.32 (s, 9 H), 1.56-2.00 (m, 4 H), 2.03-2.34 (m, 2 H), 3.23-3.35 (m, 2 H), 3.59-3.71 (m, 2 H), 3.74-3.83 (m, 2 H), 4.03-4.34 (m, 5 H), 7.27 (s, 1 H), 7.32 (d, J=8.81 Hz, 1 H), 7.75 (dd, J=8.98, 2.20 Hz, 1 H), 7.98 (d, J=2.37 Hz, 1 H); MS (ESI) m/z 498 (M+H)+.
