As described for example 8b, 6-(5-methyl-3-phenyl-isoxazol-4-ylmethoxy)-nicotinic acid (200 mg, 0.65 mmol) was converted, using 2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol instead of methylamine, to the title compound (130 mg, 53%) which was obtained as an off white solid. MS: m/e=380.5 [M−H]−.
