A mixture of 5-(2-(4-chloro-3-methoxyphenyl)propan-2-yl)-1-(4-fluorophenyl)-1H-imidazole-2-thiol (170 mg, 0.45 mmol, 1.0 eq), 4-(bromomethyl)-3,5-difluorobenzenesulfonamide (155 mg, 0.54 mmol, 1.2 eq) and K2CO3(94 mg, 0.68 mmol, 1.5 eq) in acetone (2.3 mL) was stirred for 30 min. The reaction mixture was filtered, and the filtrate was concentrated and purified (silica, 0-75% EtOAc/Hex) to afford the title compound (252 mg, 96%) as a white solid. MS (EI) m/z 584 (MH+).
