Procedure

7-(3-t-Butylamino-2-hydroxypropoxy)-1(2H)-phthalazinthione was reacted with hydrazine hydrate in a similar manner to that described in Example 1(viii) to give 7-(3-t-butylamino-2-hydroxypropoxy)-1-hydrazinophthalazine.
