Procedure
The product of Example 290 (138 mg, 0.5 mmol), platinum oxide (100 mg), conc HCl (0.5 mL) and ethanol (30 mL) were shaken on a Parr hydrogenator at 55 psi of hydrogen overnight. Filtration and concentration in vacuo gave a colorless oil. The oil was purified by C-18 reverse phase chromatography eluting with a CH3CN/H2O (0.05% TFA) gradient to give a white solid. The solid was dissolved in 1N HCl and lyophilized to afford the title product as a colorless foam (81 mg, 55% yield).
