Procedure

To a stirred solution of 20-12 (0.028 g, 0.047 mmol) in dichloromethane (10 mL) was added TFA (1 mL). After 1 hour, the solvent was removed in vacuo and azeotroped twice with toluene (15 mL). The residue was chromatographed (silica gel, 25:10:1:1 followed by 15:10:1:1 ethyl acetate/EtOH/water/NH4OH) to give 20-13 as a white solid.
