Reaction Steps
Prepared by the method described for Example 51 from 1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-8-methoxy-3-(2-oxopropyl)-5H-[1]benzopyrano[3,4-c]pyridin-5-one (14.9 g, 0.052 moles) and ethylamine (5 ml, 0.07 moles). Recrystallization from ethyl acetate gave the product (7.1 g), mp 97°-100° C.
