Reaction Steps
Prepared by the method described for Example 51 from 1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-8-methoxy-3-(2-oxopropyl)-5H-[1]benzopyrano[3,4-c]pyridin-5-one (16.5 g, 0.057 moles) and methylamine (8 ml, 0.18 moles). Recrystallization from ethyl acetate gave the product (12.0 g), mp 109°-111° C.
