1-(4-{[(4-Chloro-benzenesulfonyl)-((R)-2-oxo-azepan-3-yl)-amino]-methyl}-phenyl)-cyclopropanecarboxylic acid methyl ester (0.03 g, 0.06 mmol) was dissolved in MeOH (1 ml) and treated with 1 N NaOH (0.07 ml) for 24 hr at 50° C. The reaction mixture was concentrated under reduced pressure and purified directly using preparative RP(C18) chromatography: lyophilisate 8 mg; MS: m/e=475.0 (MH+).
