Procedure

4-(4-Aminophenoxy)-3-(1-ethynyl)-2-pyridinamine (260 mg), para-fluorophenyl isocyanate (0.13 ml) and tetrahydrofuran (5 ml) were stirred at room temperature for 20 hours. Water was added to the reaction solution, the tetrahydrofuran was distilled off, and then a small amount of ethyl acetate was added and the precipitated solid was filtered off to obtain 20 mg of a light brown solid.

Workup

  1. distillationthe tetrahydrofuran was distilled off
  2. additiona small amount of ethyl acetate was added
  3. filtrationthe precipitated solid was filtered off
