100 mg (0.53 mmol) of 7-amino-6-methoxy-1H-quinazoline-2,4-dione were suspended in 20 ml of acetonitrile and 2 ml of N-methyl-2-pyrrolidinone, and 200 mg (0.97 mmol) of 2-chloro-4,5-difluorobenzoyl isocyanate (example 1a) were added. The reaction mixture was heated to boiling and then quenched with methanol and concentrated in vacuo. The residue was stirred with acetonitrile, and the resulting precipitate was filtered off. 64 mg (30%) of the desired product were obtained.
