Procedure

To a solution of 3-[4-(2-{2-[6-(2-Fluoro-phenyl)-pyridin-3-yl]-5-methyl-thiazol-4-yl}-ethoxy)-2-methyl-phenyl]-propionic acid tert-butyl ester (120 mg) in methylene chloride (1 mL) is added TFA (0.8 mL) and two drops of water. The mixture is stirred for 2 h, and concentrated and purified by reversed phase HPLC (water-acetonitrile with 0.1% TFA). MS (ES): 491.4 (M++1).
