To a suspension of lithium aluminum hydride (80 mg, 2.1 mmol) in THF (10 ml) was added 24 (220 mg, 0.41 mmol) at room temperature. The mixture was stirred at room temperature for 2 hours. Na2SO4 /10H2O (320 mg, 1 mmol) was added then the mixture was stirred for 10 minutes. After removal of the precipitate, the solution was concentrated. The residue was dissolved in hexane (20 ml) then filtered and concentrated to give 25 (210 mg, 0.39 mmol, 95%) as a colorless oil.
